Repp’s Approach As An Advisor
Repp’s biggest concern as an advisor is making sure his clients feel confident in their financial plan and on track to achieve their goals. He works diligently behind the scenes to ensure his clients are able to enjoy their day-to-day lives without worrying about their financial well-being.
Repp prides himself on being a good listener and taking the time to understand what concerns his clients have and how he can help. By being genuine and honest with others, Repp treats his clients how he would want his own family to be treated.
Finding His Way
Repp was born and raised in Virginia Beach, and he spent many of his adolescent years surfing in his hometown, in Outer Banks, and across the globe. As a multi-sport athlete, he was highly competitive—a trait he carried into his professional life. Not only did financial services give him the freedom to grow and run his practice on his terms; it was a way to make an incredibly positive impact on the lives of others. During his first six months in the business, he delivered a death claim to a client that saved their family business—and he knew he was in the right career. Today, he’s incredibly grateful to have pursued this profession that allows him to work closely with others and make a difference in their lives.
Designations and Industry Involvement
As a driven advisor who strives to provide exceptional service for his clients, Repp is continually pursuing opportunities to learn and grow. He has earned his Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designations, and he is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the HR Estate Planning Council. In 2022, he was recognized as one of Forbes’ Best-in-State Financial Security Professionals.
Community Involvement
As a sixth-generation small-business owner, Repp is passionate about serving and being involved in his local community. Alongside his Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity brothers, Repp regularly supports his university and sponsors events for the first-responder “Honor Fund.” He also served four years as president of the Cape Henry Collegiate alumni board.
Life Outside of Work
With a primary residence in Virginia Beach and a home in Nags Head, North Carolina, Repp and his wife Dana enjoy spending much of their time in or near the water. Now that their son Max is away at college, they spend lots of time together going to dinner, golfing, and visiting with friends and family. Whenever time allows, Repp also enjoys going on surf trips with his son Max.
